In summary, if you are interested in finding out about caring for rabbits, and especially if you have children, I would steer clear of this book. Please note that it is also a book that sounds as though it was written for an American audience (as we rarely have the threat of racoons in UK gardens). The book is also very long and you have to read a lot of information about the author's experiences and life to glean any useful tips on how to care for and train your bunny (the first 2 chapters are about why he likes rabbits and why they call him The Bunny Guy). The author is very negative about garden rabbits or ones kept in a section of the house, and there are regular comments about keeping the rabbits away from children and the inability of children under the age of 10 to care for their pet rabbit. However, the book is extremely judgemental and it is very clear that the author only considers rabbits to be well homed if they live with free rein of the house with only adults. I bought this book so that I could prepare my children for the responsibilities of looking after a pet before getting rabbits.
